Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BotBell application and API ("Service") operated by BotBell ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

BotBell is a messaging platform that allows developers to send push notifications to Apple devices and receive replies. The Service includes the BotBell iOS/macOS application and the BotBell API.

2. Account Registration

You must sign in with Apple to use BotBell. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API tokens. You must not share your API tokens with unauthorized parties.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk notifications to users who have not opted in
  • Transmit malicious content, malware, or phishing attempts
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or other usage restrictions
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose

4. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits and quotas as described in our documentation. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access for accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

5. Pricing and Payment

BotBell offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro is a one-time purchase made through the Apple App Store In-App Purchase system. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. Prices may change; existing purchases will not be affected.

6. Intellectual Property

The BotBell application, API, and documentation are owned by us. You retain ownership of your data and messages. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Service at any time. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
