How do I create a bot?

Open the app, go to the Bots tab, and tap "New Bot". Give it a name and you'll receive a unique API token you can use to send messages.

How do I send a message to my phone?

Use any HTTP client (curl, Python, Node.js, etc.) to POST to our API with your bot token. See the documentation for details.

Why am I not receiving push notifications?

  • Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS/macOS Settings > BotBell
  • Check that you're signed in to the app
  • Ensure your device has an active internet connection

What are the free tier limits?

The free plan includes 3 bots and 300 messages per month. Upgrade to Pro for up to 100 bots and unlimited messages.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Delete Account in the App. Your account will enter a 30-day grace period — log back in anytime to cancel. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted. You can also email [email protected] to request deletion.
